Zephyrs Add Second Bark In The Park May 11th

Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Zephyrs have added a second Bark In The Park promotion to the 2008 schedule, it was announced Wednesday.

After rain cut short the first Bark In The Park on April 27, the Zephyrs have added a second day for "man's best friend" on Sunday, May 11, when the Z's take on the Sacramento River Cats. Gates will open at 1:00 p.m., with first pitch scheduled for 2:00.

Fans can bring their dogs to Zephyr Field, where a $6 ticket will get them and their pet onto the Levee to watch the game. 50% of the proceeds will go to benefit The Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
