MONTREAL - Montreal Impact defender Zarek Valentin and midfielder Bryan Arguez have been invited to take part in the U23 U.S. National Team camp from December 15 to 23, in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, in preparation for qualification for the Olympic summer games in 2012, in London.

Valentin has played in 29 games with the U20 U.S. National Team, while he has also suited up for the U18, U17 and U15 squads. He was a part of the Milk Cup winning U.S. side in Northern Ireland in 2010. The 20-year-old is now taking part in the MLS Generation adidas tour in Holland.

Arguez, 22, has played for the U17 and U20 U.S. National Teams, most notably representing the U.S. at the U20 World Cup in 2007 and 2009.

"We are very pleased that both these players were selected to take part in the U23 U.S. National Team selection camp," said director of soccer operations Matt Jordan. "Not only is it great for the club to have them participate in this camp, but it is also excellent for the development of these two young and talented players."

Eight countries from the CONCACAF division, including Canada and the United States, will take part in a qualifying tournament to determine the two available spots for the Olympic Games in 2012. The tournament will be played in Nashville, in Carson, California, and in Kansas City, from March 22 to April 2.
