Modesto, CA. - Four two-out RBI and six shutout innings gave the Modesto Nuts a 4-3 win against the San Jose Giants on Tuesday night at John Thurman Field.
Logan Webb (L, 1-2) started for the Giants (18-14) and recorded two quick outs in the first before back-to-back singles. Nick Zammarelli drove in both runners with his league-leading fifth triple of the year.
In the third inning, Logan Taylor recorded his second hit of the game before Zammarelli drilled a two-out double. Anthony Jimenez followed and drove Zammarelli in with a RBI single. Zammarelli went 2-for-4 with three two-out RBI.
