
Zack Greinke To Make Rehab Start With Wranglers

WICHITA, Kan. ¾ Kansas City Royals 2004 Pitcher of the Year Zack Greinke will be on the mound for the Wichita Wranglers Friday night to face the San Antonio Missions at 7:30pm at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita.
The 22-year old left Royals spring training on February 26th of this year for personal reasons. He has been on the disabled list since leaving camp.
In 2002, Greinke was named Gatorade National Baseball Player of the Year. The righthander was named Royals minor league pitcher of the year in 2003.
Greinke played in 9-games for the Wranglers in 2004 going 4-3 with a 3.23 ERA before being called up to Omaha and then Kansas City.
Friday night is Report Card Rewards and DARE Night by Texas Roadhouse. A team autograph session for fans will follow the game.
