Young Named Honorable Mention for January Forward of the Month

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) today has announced its monthly player awards for the month of January, and the Titans' Michael Young was named honorable mention for Forward of the Month.

Young had a total of 12 points (5 goals and 7 assists) in eight games in January. On the season, the Kings Park, NY native leads the team with 40 points (16 goals and 24 assists) in 32 games played. He also leads the team in goals (16).

This is the sixth time this season that the team captain has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was named honorable mention for the East Division's star of the week for week ending October 2; second star of the week for week ending November 6; first star weeks ending January 8 and 22 and NAHL forward of the month for December.
