
Yorman Rodriguez Added to South Division Roster

The Southern League announced that Yorman Rodriguez has been added to the Southern League South Division All-Star roster. Rodriguez joins five other Blue Wahoos All-Stars.
Rodriguez had a tremendous April hitting .325 as one of the league's top hitting outfielders before injuring his oblique at the end of the month causing him to miss about two weeks. Rodriguez had a strong finish to the series against the Montgomery Biscuits with four hits over his last two games.
Yorman was originally signed out of Venezuela in 2008. He was placed on the Reds 40-man roster in November, 2012. Rodriguez entered the season rated as the Reds No. 5 prospect and possessing the best outfield throwing arm in the system according to Baseball America.
The Southern League All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, June 17 in Chattanooga, Tenn.
