York Revolution Seek Presenting Partner for 2017
September 21, 2016 - Atlantic League (AtL)
York Revolution News Release
York, PA- York's professional baseball organization is looking for the next great addition to its team. Even as the Revolution battle in the 2016 playoffs, members of the team's front office staff are actively seeking area nonprofit organizations interested in furthering their causes through the advantages of being the Revolution's presenting partner for the 2017 season.
Through the team's nonprofit presenting partner program, a selected community organization enjoys a one-season term as the official nonprofit linked with the Revolution. The presenting partner's logo is incorporated in that of the team and used on the team's website and the signage, video boards, and publications distributed throughout the team's 70 home games, which this year drew nearly 240,000 people.
The presenting sponsor will also be able to further the public's awareness of its cause and services and even raise additional funds through such channels as marketing tables on the concourse of PeoplesBank Park, at which the partner may distribute literature, run contests, promote upcoming organizational events, and sell souvenirs that relate to that particular group.
The partnership also includes an extensive marketing campaign with the Revolution that includes in-game, online, print, radio, TV, and social media advertising exposure.
Other benefits include opportunities to host non-baseball events at PeoplesBank Park while the team is on the road, run an inside-the-park fundraiser, and auction special game-worn jerseys, the proceeds from which benefit the presenting partner. The jersey auctions have been among the most popular events on the Revolution promotional calendar. Previous presenting sponsors have helped the team design the jerseys and incorporated their themes in those designs. Revolution players have then worn the jerseys during games as the auctions on the concourse determined which lucky fans would leave the ballpark with the jerseys they've won taken right off the players' backs.
"We're looking for a local group that is doing great things in our community that wants to tell their story to hundreds of thousands of Yorkers through this partnership," said Nate Tile, the Revolution's vice president of business development. "There is a significant investment in time and money as well as blood, sweat, and tears to make this thing work. We are dedicated to promoting these groups and working alongside their staff to spread the message while also raising money for the organization with which we partner."
Previous partners include Special Olympics York County, Boy Scouts of America New Birth of Freedom Council, YMCA of York, York County Libraries, and the SPCA of York County.
