
Yard Dawgz to Host Military Appreciation Night

OKLAHOMA CITY - To honor active and retired military personnel, the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz will host Military Appreciation Night at Ford Center on Saturday, May 31st. Kick-off is set for 7:05 p.m. and all military personnel will receive half off any regularly priced ticket with their military I.D.
The Yard Dawgz have several special events planned to honor the brave men and women in the United States military. During pre-game, the Yard Dawgz will have an obstacle course race with several members involved in the Tinker Wellness Challenge. These participants will also be recognized, as well as other members of the military, during halftime.
"The military support of our franchise is very important," commented Yard Dawgz General Manager Christie Cook. "We greatly appreciate all of the sacrifices made by the men and women in each branch of our military and look forward to honoring them at our upcoming home game."
The pregame ceremonies will feature a 50' x 76' American flag, courtesy of the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association, and the National Anthem will be performed by the Commodore's Daughters.
