OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz have been assigned QB Ryan Porter by the af2 league office. Porter has been traded for future considerations from the Green Bay Blizzard and will challenge current QB Evan Gray for the starting position.

Porter (6'4, 215) played in five games for Green Bay where he went 50-of-95 for 655 yards, 9 TDs, and only 3 interceptions. In 2007, he was with the af2's Tennessee Valley Vipers for three games and the Manchester Wolves for four games. During that time, he went 129-of-228 with 30 TDs, 6 interceptions, and 1,333 yards. Porter has also been with the af2's Bakersfield Blitz, Rio Grande Valley Dorados, Central Valley Coyotes, and the now defunct Cincinnati Jungle Kats.

Porter's collegiate career included time spent with the 2001 University of Washington Huskies Rose Bowl team and Missouri State University Bears.

The Yard Dawgz host the Tennessee Valley Vipers on Saturday, May 31st at 7:05 p.m. on Compassionate Care Hospice Field at Ford Center. It's Military Appreciation Night!
