HOUSTON, May 30, 2008 - The Texas Copperheads celebrated the successful first half of the season marking the team's second year in the Houston area.

Through the first half of the season, attendance for home games at the Richard E. Berry Center have averaged over 2,400 fans per game, which is an increase over last year's game-by-game attendance. The Copperhead's have also invited over 3,800 school children and staff from the Cy-Fair Independent School District.

"We believe that it's important to be involved in the community," said Copperhead's General Manager, Michael Aradillas, "Our goal is to provide our fans with great football and exciting entertainment for the entire family. I believe that we've shown in the first half of the season that we're dedicated to doing that."
