The Xplorers have also announced discounted playoff ticket prices for groups of 12 or more and that a free Tailgate Party will precede the game at 5pm. While the ticket situation for the Xplorers' playoff game is set, who the team will play is another story. With the Xplorers (11-5) locked in with the number three seed in the American Conference and on a bye to end to the regular season this weekend, they could play any one of five teams at the DCC on August 5. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Macon, Manchester, Louisville and Quad City could all end up being the number six seed and the Xplorers' opponent.
With each of those teams playing this weekend, there are 32 different possible scenarios. Out of those scenarios, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton lands as the number six seed 15 times, Macon eight times, Manchester five times and Louisville and Quad City twice each.
The games involving these teams this weekend are: Quad City at Manchester (Fri); Albany @ Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Sat); Macon at Arkansas (Sat) and Louisville at Green Bay (Fri).
