Memphis Xplorers News Release
SOUTHAVEN --- The af2 announced its 2006 all af2 selections today and Memphis Xplorers OL/DL Joseph Crear has been honored as a member of the American Conference First Team. Crear was the only Xplorer to be named to the 2006 All-af2 squad.
Crear, in his fourth year out of Mississippi Valley State, led the team with 7.5 sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss. He finished the season with 22.5 total tackles, two blocked kicks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, seven pass breakups and one safety. After this season, his career sack total stands at 22, to most by any Xplorers player.

The Xplorers had their 2006 season come to an end on Friday night with a 67-50 loss to the Green Bay Blizzard in the American Conference Semifinals.
