SOUTHAVEN, Miss â The Memphis Xplorers have strung together back-to-back wins and continue to drive towards the first playoff berth in franchise history. The Xplorers are 5-7, but control their own destiny. If Memphis wins out they can't miss the af2 playoffs. The Xplorers are home this Saturday night against Tennessee Valley at the DeSoto Civic Center, located just 15 minutes south of downtown Memphis. With a 56-35 victory over the Bossier City Battle Wings this past Friday night, the Xplorers improved their chances at making the af2 playoffs and remain in seventh place in the conference. Memphis has a very tough test this week as the only unbeaten team in af2, the Tennessee Valley Vipers, comes to town.
