YORK, Pennsylvania - Matt Wright (2-0) used another stellar outing working seven innings while just giving up one run on six hits and striking out seven in a 4-2 win over the York Revolution (8-16) Tuesday night at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

Again, the Revs scored first in the bottom of the first to take an early 1-0 lead off a Michael Hernandez solo home run (8) deep to left center. His home run breaks the tie with Ben Harrison atop the Atlantic League in the home runs category.

Once the Skeeters had a few swing under their belt, they used another big third inning to get themselves back in the game much like last night. With two outs already gone in the inning, Drew Locke singled up the middle and stole second during Bubba Bell's at-bat to put himself in scoring position. The starting center fielder Bell came through with a base knock into left scoring Locke to tie the game, 1-1. Jimmy VanOstrand then took the next pitch he saw in the very next at-bat into center allowing Bell to score from second to give Sugar Land a 2-1 lead.

Bell led off the top of the sixth with a triple deep to center field and was brought home in the next at-bat once again by VanOstrand to push the score up to 3-1. So far this series, Bell has collected five hits in eight at-bats with three RBI and two runs scored.

The Skeeters added some insurance in the ninth after Harrison scored on a wild pitch after stealing second and third to make the score 4-1, but it was not needed in the closing bottom of the ninth. Gary Majewski made his second appearance in as many days to get his first save (1) of the season. What started off as a troublesome inning with three singles in a row and a run scored to make it 4-2, a momentum killing 4-6-3 double play sealed the Revs fate. Revs catcher Travis Scott grounded out to second to end the game.

The Sugar Land Skeeters (11-14) moved one game closer to first with the win and a Lancaster Barnstomers loss and record their second series victory on the road on the trip up to the northeast. The Skeeters have the chance for their first series sweep tomorrow evening.

VanOstrand goes 2-3 with a 2B and 2 RBI. Bell goes 2-4 with a 3B and 2R scored. The Skeeters have won five straight against the Revolution and six of their last seven.

The Skeeters play their third and final game of the series against the Revolution tomorrow with first pitch scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CDT.
