Wranglers to face Soul in playoffs

AUSTIN-The Austin Wranglers have secured their first playoff berth in the team's three-year history. On Sunday, May 21, the Wranglers will host the Philadelphia Soul at 2 p.m. at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin for the Wild Card Round of the 2006 Arena Football League Playoffs.

Philadelphia is owned by rocker Jon BonJovi and their team president is former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and NFL analyst for ESPN, Ron Jaworski. Soul quarterback Tony Graziani is also the highest paid player in the AFL.

Earlier this season, the Wranglers defeated the Soul in Philadelphia 43-38, behind four touchdowns coming from rookie of the year candidate Derrick Lewis.

In what marks one of the first professional sports playoff games in Austin, it is important that fans get their playoff tickets as soon as possible.

Fans will receive special pricing with a deposit or purchase of 2007 season tickets.
