Wranglers lend support to American Heart Association and Lions Club

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers will be assisting the American Heart Association and the Executive Lions Club of Las Vegas with their major fundraisers this weekend. This Saturday morning the Wranglers staff will be attending the American Heart Walk, being held on the campus of UNLV. In the afternoon, the Wranglers staff will be participating in the Lions Club "Bowling for Burns" fundraiser which will be held at the Orleans Bowling Center.

The Twelfth Annual American Heart Walk is a non-competitive 5K stroll to raise money for research to fight heart disease and stroke. Wranglers' Director of Merchandise Deric Voelker will be participating in the walk, while select Wranglers staff members will also be on hand to run the Wranglers inflatable Slap Shot game. The slap shot game will be located in the Kids Zone. The Kids Zone is an interactive entertainment area for the children and families of those walking in the event.

Starting at noon in the Orleans Bowling Center, the Wranglers staff will be showing off their bowling skills at the Executive Lion's Club's Second Annual Bowling for Burns fundraiser. The event will benefit the UMC Lions Burn Care Center, the Children's Trauma Center, the Nevada Blind Center, and other charitable Lions projects. Members of the Wranglers front office will not only be raising money for the Lions Club, but will also be competing to win a cash prize which the team has committed to put toward the Wranglers community efforts throughout the season.

Wranglers' individual game seats will go on sale to the public on Saturday, September 27 at 10:00 am. Wranglers' ticket locations are the Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast, or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows Malls guest relations/ticket centers.
