Recent Wrangler Transactions

There's been a lot of movement involving the Wichita roster since the end of the first half, so let's get caught up.

IF Justin Huber was promoted to Kansas City last Monday, June 20 to replace the injured Mike Sweeney. A day later, RHP Jonah Bayliss was called up to replace the injured former Wrangler Ambiorix Burgos. Huber picked up his first Major League hit with an RBI double on Friday and has had a hit and an RBI in the two games since. Bayliss is continuing the dominance he showed during his time in Wichita, as he has yet to give a run in 2.1 innings of work.

OF Cory Aldridge and RHP Shawn Sonnier were both promoted to Omaha after the All-Star Game last Tuesday. Shawn is 1-0 in 2 appearances out of the bullpen with 7 strikeouts in 3.2 innings. Cory is hitting at a .400 clip and had two home runs in the game last Friday!

RHP Steve Bray was promoted to Wichita from High Desert on June 23. IF Donnie Murphy and RHP Trae McGill were both activated from the DL on June 21.
