WICHITA, Kan. ¾ The Kansas City Royals have signed free agent outfielder Juan Senreiso and assigned him to Wichita.
The 25-year old Senreiso will join the Wranglers for tonight's 7:10 game in Springfield.
Senreiso is a native of the Dominican Republic. The Texas Rangers signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2000.
In 2004, Senreiso was tabbed by Baseball America as having the best outfield arm among all Rangers prospects.
Last season, as a member of the Texas League's Frisco Roughriders, Senreiso played in 132 games with a .284 batting average, 141 hits, 25 doubles, 5 triples, 5 home runs, 35 RBI and 16 stolen bases.
