October 26, 2020 - National Arena League (NAL)
Carolina Cobras News Release
The Carolina Cobras announce the signing of WR Martel Moore.
Martel Moore (6'0" 183 Northern Illinois University) has been a star for a while now, including in high school he earned all-state honors as a senior with 14 TDs, 1248 yards and averaged nearly 23 yards per catch. He went on to Northern Illinois and started playing right away, including 13 games as a Freshman. His senior campaign at Northern Illinois he was first team All Mid-American as WR. He finished four years with 178 receptions for 2,544 yards and 24 TDs. After college he was signed by the Atlanta Falcons and played in the pre-season for the Falcons but was part of the final cuts. He has gone on to many arena teams since then, playing for Coach Resignalo for the Havoc back in 2018.
Coach Resignalo had this to say "To have Martel for a 2nd season is going to be fun. Martel was with me in 2018 and was a big part of our success in winning a championship. Martel is a very talented WR but is an even greater athlete as he can dominate at DB as well. Martel is going to cause opposing NAL players problems. Looking forward to what Martel is going to do in 2021!"
