
WR Mann signs with Redskins

(Edmonton) Edmonton Eskimo wide receiver Maurice Mann has signed with the NFL's Washington Redskins. Mann joined the Esks on October 3, 2007 and started in the last three games of the season, hauling in nine passes for 127 yards.
A fifth round pick (149th overall) of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2004 NFL Draft, Mann has also spent time on the practice squads of the Miami Dolphins, (2004), Seattle Seahawks (2005), Minnesota Vikings (2006) where he dressed for one regular season game (Sept 24/06 vs. Chicago) and Cleveland Browns (2007). In two seasons at the University of Nevada, Mann caught 53 passes for 817 yards and five TDs.
