Worcester, MA - The Worcester Tornadoes are excited to release the team's schedule for the 2007 season. In 2007 the Tornadoes will host 7 additional home games due to the addition of the Atlantic City Surf and the Grays. The 2007 season will include 53 home games at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field. The 2007 home opener will be on Monday, May 28th against the New Haven County Cutters.
The Tornadoes host almost half of their games on weekends this coming season with 25 games scheduled on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Log on to www.worcestertornadoes.com for the complete schedule.
The team is planning new promotions, theme nights, special events and new ballpark features to celebrate the team's third season.
"We have had tremendous support from our fans every season and look forward to welcoming them back, as well as new Tornadoes fans, in what we expect to be an outstanding season of Tornadoes baseball," said RC Reuteman, President and General Manager of the Tornadoes.
The 2007 Can-Am League season will consist of 95 games and run from May 24th through September 3rd.
With the release of the 2007 schedule the Tornadoes will soon place Group Outings, Picnics and Mini Paks on sale for the upcoming season.
