
Worcester Sharks Bolster Front Office Headed into Home Opener

Worcester, MA - The Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks), proud American Hockey League affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) are proud to announce the addition of four new members to the front office team and the promotion of Kristyn Galante as the Sharks prepare for their 8th season of hockey at the newly renovated DCU Center in Worcester.
Mike Murtha joins the Sharks as corporate account executive after spending time as the marketing director at Murtha Construction and as a partnership marketing coordinator with the New York Islanders. The native of Bay Shore, NY has a bachelor of science in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University where he was the captain of the men's lacrosse team.
Amanda Perkins joins the Sharks as a ticket service specialist after spending last season as an account executive for the Greenville Road Warriors (ECHL). A native of Baltimore, MD and graduate of Duquesne University, Perkins also had stints with the Pittsburgh Penguins as a community relations intern, and with the Aberdeen Ironbirds (NYPL) baseball team as a marketing intern.
Peter Kelly joins the Sharks as an account executive after spending the last three seasons as a ticket sales manager with the Providence Bruins. A native of Bridgewater, MA and graduate of Western New England University, Kelly has also spent time with the Lowell Spinners as a food and beverage manager, and internships with the Brockton Rox and Hyannis Mets.
Andrew Nawn joins the Sharks after spending the last two seasons as an intern with the Worcester Sharks in various departments. A native of Auburn, MA and graduate of Framingham State University, Nawn also held internships with the Springfield Armor and the Worcester Tornadoes.
In addition, Kristyn Galante was promoted to corporate & tickets sales account executive after spending the last two seasons as an account executive with the Sharks. Galante is a native of Northborough, MA and graduate of Johnson & Wales.

On Saturday, the Sharks host the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins at 7pm on OPENING NIGHT at the RENOVATED DCU CENTER! The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Worcester Sharks magnet schedule!
