
Woodall To Serve As Color Analyst Saturday

Amarillo, TX 4/22/10 - West Texas A&M University Director of Broadcasting and Corporate Sales Manager Phil Woodall will join the Amarillo Venom broadcast team this Saturday night, the team announced Thursday.
Woodall, who has broadcasted and public address announced for West Texas A&M University Athletics since 1984, joins Venom Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting Cody Eastwood for the first time this season as color commentator when the Venom take on the Colorado Ice Saturday at the Amarillo Civic Center.
"Phil has been an interracial part of West Texas A&M athletics and the Panhandle sports community throughout the years," expressed Venom General Manager Joe Morgado. "It is an honor to have him apart of the Venom family this Saturday night."
Since 2003, Woodall has worked as a full-time employee with West Texas A&M Athletics and has done broadcasting work for area high school football, basketball, and volleyball since 1984. Woodall has also filed reports for KGNC and has covered the Colonial Golf Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas since 1977. When Woodall was not broadcasting from 1979 until 2002, he served as Randall County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4.
