Kent, WA: In release made today, the league office of the Indoor Football League announced that Kent Predators Defensive Lineman and John Fields was selected as the Week Eight VidSwap.com Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the team's home victory against division rival the Tri-Cities Fever.

Fields becomes the first Predator this season to be named Defensive Player of the Week, and fourth member of the team to be honored by the league joining Jarvious Dunn, Charles McCullum, and Dre'Mail Hardin.
