Wood Ducks Complete Six Game Sweep

The Woodies have been on fire lately picking up their sixth straight win and completing the sweep against the Carolina Mudcats for the first time this season. Winston Santos pitched four no-hit innings before the Mudcats were on the board. In the bottom of the fourth Junior Paniagua and Alejandro Osuna had two RBI's a piece giving the Wood Ducks a 4-0 lead. They tacked on more runs in the bottom of the fifth by an RBI single from Ian Moller. Daniel Mateo had a pair of RBI's in the ball game as well. The Woodies went on to win seven to five and finish the sweep.

The Wood Ducks (36-33) will be back, on Tuesday, June 28th, to face the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, as the first pitch is set for 6:00 p.m. in Kinston, NC at Grainger Stadium.
