--- The Wolves allowed three unanswered goals, including the game-winner with 51 seconds left in regulation, losing to the Houston Aeros, 3-2, at the Toyota Center
--- Forwards BRAD LARSEN and DEREK MacKENZIE notched Chicago's goals, separated by just 28 seconds
--- Goaltender KARI LEHTONEN posted 41 saves

--- The Wolves grabbed the lead late in the second period and never looked back, defeating the San Antonio Rampage, 2-1, at the SBC Center
--- Center CORY LAROSE notched the game-winning goal and an assist, while forwards BRAD LARSEN and LONNY BOHONOS each collected markers

WOLF TRACKS


--- Chicago finished January with a 6-7-1 record, the first time this season the team finished a month below .500.


--- The Wolves have allowed seven goals in their last four games (an average of 1.75 per game) after surrendering 19 in their previous four (4.75).


--- Chicago has notched at least one power-play goal in 25 of its last 31 games; the Wolves rank eighth in the league on the power play at 18.0 percent (49 for 272).


--- The Wolves lost in regulation on Saturday for only the second time this season when leading after two periods; Chicago has posted a 19-2-3-0 record in contests they lead after the second frame.

HOME COOKING

The Wolves will play 15 of their next 21 games at the Allstate Arena, which includes nine of their 12 contests during February. Chicago has posted a 14-5-3-0 record on home ice this season.

NOTABLE

On Tue., Feb. 1, Wolves goaltender Michael Garnett will visit the Dolton Public Library, 14037 Lincoln Ave., at 4:30 p.m., and the Lansing Public Library, 2750 Indiana Ave., at 6:30 p.m., as part of the team's "Read to Succeed" program, which has reached nearly 350,000 children in ten seasons.
