WOLF TRACKS
--- Chicago finished January with a 6-7-1 record, the first time this season
the team finished a month below .500.
--- The Wolves have allowed seven goals in their last four games (an average
of 1.75 per game) after surrendering 19 in their previous four (4.75).
--- Chicago has notched at least one power-play goal in 25 of its last 31
games; the Wolves rank eighth in the league on the power play at 18.0
percent (49 for 272).
--- The Wolves lost in regulation on Saturday for only the second time this
season when leading after two periods; Chicago has posted a 19-2-3-0 record
in contests they lead after the second frame.
HOME COOKING
The Wolves will play 15 of their next 21 games at the Allstate Arena, which includes nine of their 12 contests during February. Chicago has posted a 14-5-3-0 record on home ice this season.
NOTABLE
On Tue., Feb. 1, Wolves goaltender Michael Garnett will visit the Dolton Public Library, 14037 Lincoln Ave., at 4:30 p.m., and the Lansing Public Library, 2750 Indiana Ave., at 6:30 p.m., as part of the team's "Read to Succeed" program, which has reached nearly 350,000 children in ten seasons.
