THIS WEEK
The Pirates bring an 18-22-3-4 record entering this week's games.
NEXT HOME GAME: Friday, February 4th vs. Lowell at 7:05 p.m.- It will be State Farm Insurance Night. The first 1,500 fans will receive a State Farm Insurance water bottle.
Trent Whitfield has tallied seven points (3 goals and 4 assists) in seven games against Lowell this season.
Saturday, February 5th vs. Manchester at 7:05 p.m. - This is the second of two U.S. Cellular Nights. The first 5,000 fans will receive the second and final set of 12 Portland Pirates player collector cards sponsored by U.S. Cellular. The first 4,000 fans will also receive a pair of thunder sticks courtesy of U.S. Cellular.
Boyd Gordon has scored three goals over his last 10 games and now leads the team with 11 goals.
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
This weekend fans can stay at the Portland Harbor Hotel for a discounted price of $149 per night and also receive four tickets to the Pirates game on the night of your stay. In addition, as part of the offer the Pirates will include one autographed puck and a free game program! Be sure to mention the Pirates special offer when calling for reservations. Fans can also dine at Eve's restaurant and enjoy a complimentary beer or glass of wine with dinner for two. The offer also includes complimentary parking for the duration of the Pirates game.
Saturday, February 19th vs. Providence 7:05 p.m. - Hannaford Thunder stick night! The first 3,000 fans will receive a set of thunder sticks courtesy of Hannaford Supermarkets.
Saturday, March 12th vs. Philadelphia 2:05 p.m. - Maine Credit Union League Team Photo Night. All fans will receive a 2004-05 Pirates team photo courtesy of the Maine Credit Union League.

The 8th Annual "Evening with the Pirates" presented by the Portland Pirates Foundation and Key Bank will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Stadium Restaurant and Sports Bar. This year's event will support the Pirates new exhibit at the Children's Museum of Maine opening next spring.
A reminder to all full and half season ticket holders who wish to redeem any unused tickets: Tickets can be redeemed at the Civic Center Box Office at any time. Replacement tickets for these games will be the best available within the original price range. The following games are redemption games for the 2004-2005 season:
February 17th vs. Wilkes-Barre Scranton 7:05 p.m.
March 3rd vs. Worcester 7:05 p.m.
April 8th vs. Manchester 7:05 p.m.

Wednesday, January 26th, Jason Ulmer and Darcy Verot presented the Pirates fourth "Goals for Success" program of the year at the Riverton School in Portland, ME sponsored by Maine Healthy Partnerships and Pepsi.
Saturday, January 29th, Pirates players Darcy Verot and Jean-Francois Fortin were "Celebrity Scoopers" at the Friendly's at the Maine Mall to raise money for the "Cones for Kids" campaign for Easter Seals.
Tomorrow, catch the Pirates Head Coach Tim Army on WJAB at 8:00 a.m. on the "The Morning Jab" on WJAB 95.5FM and 1440AM.
On Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., the Pirates will host a Junior Achiever job shadow day for kids from the Lyman Moore Middle School. Also on Wednesday, Pirates defenseman Nolan Yonkman will join Dave and Michelle on 99.9FM "The Wolf" morning show at 7:30 a.m.
Wednesday, Pirates players Brian Willsie and Trent Whitfield will present the fifth "Goals for Success" program of the year at Village Elementary in Gorham, ME sponsored by Healthy Maine Partnerships and Pepsi.
This Thursday, listen to 107.5 FRANK FM morning show Bill and Shelley at 8:00 a.m. with their special guest, Pirates forward Garret Stroshein. Hear Tim Army's wife, Sue Army this Friday at 7:52 a.m. and 5:25 p.m. on WMGX 93.1FM and WPOR 101.9FM.
On Saturday, catch up with the Pirates players at the Hannaford supermarket in Topsham, ME from 12:30-2:00 p.m. with the WBLM "Street Team." The players will be signing autographs and giving away tickets every ten minutes.
Listen every weekday morning at 7:20 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. for the "Voice of the Pirates" Greg Glynn with your Portland Pirates daily report on WJAB 95.5FM and 1440AM.
Louis Robitaille will be on WBLM 102.9FM this Friday at 8:00 a.m. with the Captain and Mark.

Jason Ulmer returned to the line-up after missing 12 games with an injury and scored the Pirates goal.
Saturday, January 29th vs. Providence (5-3 L)
Brian Sutherby scored a goal and added an assist in the game. Sutherby was also nominated for the CCM Vector/AHL Player of the Week.
Sunday, January 30th @ Worcester (4-0 W)
Pirates goaltender Kirk Daubenspeck made 27 saves en route to the Pirates first shutout of the season.
