THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

The Wolves enter the final week of the regular-season in first place in the West Division with 101 points through 77 games and a four-point advantage over the second-place Texas Stars with three games remaining on both teams' schedules; Chicago has won two West Division titles in its nine-year AHL history (2005 and 2008).

WOLVES HEADLINES

--- JOHNNY POHL: Matched a season-high two goals on Friday, to collect his 14th multiple-point outing of the season ... Ranks second on the Wolves with 32 assists and shares third on the team with 50 points in 63 games this season; his 18 goals hold fourth on the team ... Shares the team lead with seven power-play strikes

--- MATT ANDERSON: Recorded a goal and an assist in three of his last four games and has posted 13 multiple-point outings overall this year ... Has set career-highs in every offensive category this season, which includes dishing out 28 assists, which ranks third on the team ... Ranks fifth on the team with 16 goals and sixth with 44 points in 60 games ... Paces team forwards and shares 17th in the AHL with a +24 plus/minus rating

--- ARTURS KULDA: Potted his career-high sixth goal of the season on Wednesday and has tallied three points (G, 2A) in his last five games ... Ranks second among Wolves defensemen with a career-high 19 assists and shares second with a career-most 25 points in 65 matchups this season ... Shares first in the AHL with a +46 plus/minus rating and has recorded a plus or even rating in 55 of his 65 contests this year

--- JOEY CRABB: Dished out two assists in three games this week, which includes his career-high 27th helper on Friday ... Ranks second on the team with a career-high 23 goals and shares fourth with 27 assists ... Shares third on the team with a career-best 50 points in 76 games overall this season

--- PETER MANNINO: Turned aside all 32 shots he faced on Wednesday to pick up his second shutout of the season ... Suffered his first regulation loss since Jan. 6 on Friday, a span of 22 appearances ... Shares second in the AHL with a .923 save percentage and ranks fourth with a 2.22 goals-against average in 35 outings this season (24-4-1); his 24 wins are tied for 11th in the league

WOLF TRACKS

--- Chicago (47-23-1-6) ranks third in the AHL with 101 points and shares third in the league with 47 wins through 77 games.

--- The Wolves victory over Houston on March 31 helped the squad become the seventh team in franchise history to crack the 100-point mark in a season.

--- Chicago suffered back-to-back regulation losses on Friday and Saturday - the first time since Dec. 13 and 18 the team dropped two straight regulation decisions, a span of 48 games.

--- The Wolves killed of all five of San Antonio's power-play opportunities on Saturday, the fifth straight game, and 39th time overall this season, the team has been perfect on the penalty kill (23-13-0-3); Chicago shares fifth in the league with an 85.6 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (255 of 298).

--- The Wolves will play two of their last three regular-season games at home, beginning with a tilt against the Milwaukee Admirals on Wednesday; Chicago has posted a 27-8-0-3 mark on home ice this season, outscoring opponents, 132-92, along the way.

--- Left wing GREG STEWART scored his first goal as a member of the Wolves on Wednesday; the 23-year-old forward was the 24th skater to tally a marker for Chicago this season.

--- Chicago has been held without a power-play marker in four straight games and in 13 of its last 16 contests (four of 55); the Wolves share 15th in the AHL with an 16.9 efficiency rating on the power-play (53 of 314).

FAN'S LABYRINTH

--- The Wolves will host their annual Fan Appreciation Night when they close out their 16th regular-season at the Allstate Arena on Sat., April 10, at 7 p.m. The Wolves players will give the "shirts off their backs" to 20 lucky recipients who purchased scratch-and-win cards throughout the season with proceeds benefiting Chicago Wolves Charities. --- The Wolves fell behind 2-0 in the first period and were never able to pull even as they dropped a 4-3 decision to the Houston Aeros at the Toyota Center
--- Centers JOHNNY POHL (2G) and RILEY HOLZAPFEL dented the net
--- Goaltender PETER MANNINO posted 26 saves on 30 shots

Wed., March 31

--- The Wolves took the lead 36 seconds into the game and never looked back, defeating Houston, 4-0, at the Toyota Center
--- Forwards GREG STEWART and MATT ANDERSON and defensemen PAUL POSTMA and ARTURS KULDA scored
