Manchester Wolves News Release
MANCHESTER, N.H. (May 19, 2004) - The Manchester Wolves are all about giving back to their fans, however this time they hope they won't have to.
On Wednesday night, Wolves head coach Rik Richards guaranteed a victory over the Birmingham Steeldogs (5-1) with one stipulation, that the fans simply fill the stands.
Today the team, together with Jeff Benson of Quality Insulation of Nashua, is backing up Coach Richards' statement by offering two lucky fans in attendance Friday night an exclusive, all-expenses-paid, one-night trip to Boston. The trip would include limousine transportation provided by Spiderbite, dinner for each winner and a guest at a four-star restaurant, hotel lodging, and two tickets each for a Red Sox game.
This deal, however, is only valid if the Wolves lose. Benson and his team at Quality Insulation feel confident that the offer won't be necessary.
"On behalf of myself and all the folks at Quality Insulation, we believe in the Wolves and in Coach Richards," Benson said. "With our help and the help of the great fans of this state, we think this team can accomplish great things."
Quality Insulation, a division of the Masco Company, provides the areas building contractors and homeowners with a full line of insulation products along with foundation waterproofing, gas and wood fireplaces, gutters and downspouts, closet shelving, custom mirrors and bath accessories. With offices in Nashua, Meredith, Portsmouth, NH, Yarmouth, ME and Milford, MA, Quality Insulation, established in 1982, installs, warranties and services all the products it sells.
