
Law Adds To Winning Formula, Saturday\'s Game On TV

LAREDO, Texas â Fresh off the first win in franchise history, the Laredo Law have been assigned three more players by the arenafootball2 league office. The Law welcomed back wide receiver Terrence Minor and offensive-defensive lineman Rod Kelly who were on the Laredo roster early this season. Laredo was also assigned offensive-defensive lineman Michael Patterson. The Law is on the road the next two weeks, including this Saturday night in Rio Grande Valley. Minor was the first player assigned to the Law in franchise history. He played at the University of Texas El Paso. He has been home in El Paso taking care of family business.
Kelly was with the team for one game and was granted a leave of absence by the team to participate in a workout with the Buffalo Bills of the NFL.
Patterson, a 6'4" 320-pound lineman, played at the University of Washington. He was at the Buffalo Bills workout with Kelly.
"We brought Michael in for a two-day workout and we were impressed with what we saw," said Law head coach Scot Maynard. "He has good strength, good ability to pass block and also pass rush."
The Law placed offensive-defensive lineman Joe Strandhardt and Anthony Knutson on reassignment. They also placed fullback-linebacker Sedrick Brown on reassignment.
Laredo moved offensive-defensive lineman Bobby Collins to the short term injured reserve.

The Laredo Law game this Saturday night will be available on Televisa over the air channel 57. You must disconnect your cable and use the antenna to see the game. Viewers can turn down the sound and pick up the Law radio broadcast on 94.9 The New Qure FM.
