
Wolves Run out of Gas in Fourth Quarter, Fall to Suns

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves (0-3) dropped their third consecutive game to start the season Tuesday night, falling to the Northern Arizona Suns (1-1) 106-95 at Wells Fargo Arena.
Iowa was outscored 30-19 in the final frame after entering the fourth quarter tied 76-76.
The Wolves' offense was spearheaded by the duo of Darius Johnson-Odom (28) and Canyon Barry (21).
Barry finished with his first-ever double-double in the NBA G League, hauling in a team-high 10 rebound to go along with a 21-point performance on 8-of-14 shooting from the floor. The University of Florida alum also led the team from in three-point field goals, going 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.
Johnson-Odom added four rebounds and five assists to his final line.
In his first start against his former team from Arizona, Xavier Silas finished with 19 points on 7-of-17 shooting. The trio of Johnson-Odom, Barry and Silas teamed up for 68 of the team's 95 total points.
Suns' assignee De'Anthony Melton recorded his first-ever NBA G League triple-double while leading Northern Arizona to victory, posting a stat line of 19 points, 10 rebounds and team-high 13 assists.
Former University of Iowa guard Peter Jok paced the Suns with 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including 5-of-7 from the three-point line.
The Wolves head to the west coast after finishing a three-game homestand and will take on the Santa Cruz Warriors on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 9:00 p.m. CT.
