Wolves Host Greyhounds & IceDogs

The Sudbury Wolves will look to bounce back this week when they host their Northern Rivals, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Wednesday at 7:00pm. The Greyhounds hold a 3-1 series lead in the BELL FIBREOP Challenge Cup this season with two games still up for grabs. The Hounds are the sixth ranked team in the country. The SOO's line-up features three players who participated in the 2015 World Junior tournament including DARNELL NURSE (CAN), BRANDON HALVERSON (USA), and SERGEY TOLCHINSKY (RUS).

Wednesday's game is sponsored by BELL FIBREOP. Don't miss the return of the BELL FIBREOP Rapid Fire Shoot-out during the 2nd intermission. Stay in your seats during the first intermission to cheer on the Copper Cliff Tykes in the Tim Hortons mini game.

The Wolves will be back in action at home on Friday January 9th when they host the Niagara IceDogs at 7:30pm. The IceDogs are led up front by forwards JOSH HO-SANG and CARTER VERHAEGHE who have notched 42 and 39 points respectively this season. HO-SANG was selected in the 1st round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders while VERHAEGHE was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 3rd round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
