Wolves Blueliner to Appear at American Indian Center

Chicago Wolves defenseman CHAD DENNY will visit the American Indian Center at 1630 W. Wilson Ave. in Chicago on Mon., Feb. 16, at 2:30 p.m., to speak to children about his Mi'kmaq (mic-mac) heritage.

The 21-year-old blueliner will discuss his hockey background and his experiences growing up in the Eskasoni First Nation community in Nova Scotia. He will also sign autographs and answer questions from the children.

The Atlanta Thrashers' second choice, 49th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, DENNY has posted two goals and seven points in 33 games during his second professional campaign this season.

Last year, the Sydney, Nova Scotia, native made his AHL debut and recorded two goals, four assists and six points in 11 contests with the Wolves.
