AHL announces suspension

Published on February 12, 2009 under American Hockey League (AHL) News Release

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Albany River Rats defenseman Tim Conboy has been suspended for four (4) games as a result of his actions in a game vs. Portland, played in Buffalo on Feb. 10.

Conboy was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).

Conboy will miss Albany's games on Friday (Feb. 13) vs. Springfield; Saturday (Feb. 14) vs. Lowell; Monday (Feb. 16) vs. Manchester and Wednesday (Feb. 18) at Lowell.
