
River Rats Back Home With Wins In Pocket

Albany River Rats News Release
ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats announced today full details for the club's activities surrounding three upcoming games at the Times Union Center.
Currently riding a season-high four-game winning streak, the River Rats begin a three-game home stand on Friday, February 13th as they host the Springfield Falcons at 7:00 pm. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free puck courtesy of Cargill and all fans can take advantage of Dollar Dog Night as well. Radio Disney will host the Kidcaster Contest powered by Del Lanes where one lucky fan could win a trip to Walt Disney World by auditioning pre-game through the end of the first intermission. The best "Kidcaster" wins a prize pack, will perform for the crowd and be entered to win the trip to Disney World.
Then on Valentine's Day, Saturday, February 14th, Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants will be at the game as the Rats host players from their old affiliation the Lowell Devils at 7:00 pm. All fans can meet and get their picture taken with "The Sponge" himself, enjoy performances from the Total Tan Ice Mice and let the River Rats' mascots Rowdy and Rude-e have some fun with your special valentine.
The River Rats will wrap up their three-game home stand for a special President's Day game against the Manchester Monarchs on Monday, February 16th at 5:00 pm. During the game Albany will be celebrating their mascot "Rowdy" The Rat's Sweet 16 Party, including a "This Is Your Life" presentation and a special visit by the Rowdy one's parents. As always, every River Rats home game features great intermission contests, discounted concessions prices, fun in the Kids Zone, Chuck-a-Puck and much more.

Albany returns home to the Times Union Center for a Friday, February 13th game against the Springfield Falcons for a 7:00 pm face off. On Saturday, February 14th the River Rats host the Lowell Devils for a Valentine's Day game at 7:00 pm.
