Wolves award-winning dance team tryouts to be held Saturday at the Mall of New Hampshire

MANCHESTER, NH (February 10, 2005) The Manchester Wolves dance team, which won national acclaim in their first year is holding tryouts for the 2005 season. The team is looking for a few dancers that have what it takes to excite and cheer on the Wolves crowds that fill the stands at Verizon Wireless Arena. The final tryout will take place at 1PM on Saturday, February 12,2005 at the Mall of New Hampshire in the Filene's corridor. All contestants who made it through the preliminary tryout will be competing. No new contestants will be added.
"If you are hoping to be in the public eye, and be part of a dance team that plans on being number one in the league next season, come on out and show us what you've got," said team choreographer Heidi Sullivan-Laroche. Laroche did add a warning, "Dancing for the Wolves dance team is not all physical. Our routines change every week to keep them hot, fresh, and current. Be ready to work hard and learn fast."
The Manchester Wolves dance team took third place in league wide competition in 2004, the team's first year in Manchester. The 19-member squad competed with 24 other squads and placed third against some very talented veteran dance teams. This year the dance team will be adorned in new uniforms and are hoping to put together a team calendar.
Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella looks forward to this year's tryouts, " I want to wish all of the ladies trying out for this years dance team luck. To make this squad would be quite an accomplishment considering the level of achievement they reached last season."
The Wolves have assembled a celebrity panel to judge the routines of the dancers. The public is welcome to come down and cheer on their favorite contestants. Get there early to see the entire competition.
