Kingston Frontenacs News Release
Kingston-Wolfe Island resident, Tim Hawkins, is the lucky qualifier who will shoot for $1million in celebration of the Kingston Frontenacs 40th season. The contest, where fans qualified at home games during the regular season by correctly guessing the time of the first goal scored in the third period of each home game, wrapped up with a special event on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Fanatics Sports Lounge to decide the lucky goal shooter.
Mr. Hawkins will be on the ice for an hour on Thursday, March 14, from 11 a.m. to 12noon, preparing for the historic shoot. Media are invited to attend the on-ice session, accessing the K-Rock Centre through The Fronts Shop entrance on The Tragically Hip Way.
