
Wizards Waive Five Players

Bismarck, ND, Nov. 18, 2009 -- The Dakota Wizards have announced today that they have waived five players to get to the mandatory roster limit of 12.
The Wizards have waived guards Manny Quezada, Rashaad Powell and Cameron Stanley along with forwards Derick Payne and Lorenzo Davis.
The Wizards now have until Wednesday, November 25th, to make two more roster moves to reach the opening day roster limit of 10 players.
The first chance to catch the Dakota Wizards in action will be a preseason game to be played Friday, November 20th, against the Sioux Falls Skyforce in Hazelton, ND at 6 pm.
The Wizards open the season November 28th at the Bismarck Civic Center against the expansion Maine Red Claws. Season tickets, starting at just $99, are still available and can be purchased by calling 258-BALL.
