Dakota Wizards News Release

BISMARCK, ND, November 25, 2008 - The NBA Development League Central Division Champion Dakota Wizards announced today that they will team up with AID Incorporated this Thanksgiving. For the second year Wizards players, coaches and staff will help AID Incorporated feed families and friends at two church locations on Thanksgiving Day.

"This is one of the best parts of the job", said Wizards general manager Tom Wagganer. "Getting the chance to get our players in the community and see who they are playing for is great, I am glad we can help out as we prepare for our season".

Wizards players and staff will be at First Presbyterian Church (214 E. Thayer Ave) and First Lutheran Church (408 9th st.) in Mandan from 11:30 to 1:00 on Thursday November 27th.

AID Incorporated provides meals to people who may not have a family to share the holidays with, along with those who do not have the means to cook a holiday meal. Dan's SuperValue donates all the food for the two locations, while the two locations are all staffed by volunteers around the community.

For more information on how you can help with this program contact Richard Ott at the AID Incorporated office in Bismarck. To get involved with similar programs feel free to contact The United Way or the Dakota Wizards front office at 258-BALL.
