DES MOINES, IA - The 2011 NBA D-League Champion Iowa Energy were outrebounded 57 to 39 as the Dakota Wizards defeated the Energy 108-96 Saturday night in Des Moines.
Dakota led 52-49 in a tight 1st half as Golden State Warriors assignee Chris Wright scored 10 early points.
The Wizards, who improve to 12-13 on the season with the win, extended the lead to 84-71 on a Justin Johnson jumper to end the 3rd quarter. Iowa battled back in the 4th, using a 9-2 run midway through the quarter to draw to within five points at 92-87.
