
Wizards Invite Eight From Free Agent Camp

Bismarck, ND - In an unheralded move for a CBA franchise, the Dakota Wizards have invited eight players from their free agent camp to attend veterans camp which opens up on Thursday, October 30 at the University of Mary.
The eight players are highlighted by former University of North Dakota power forward Hunter Reinke. "We were very pleased with the level of play at our free agent camp--so much so that we have invited eight of the 24 players to our veterans camp,"stated Wizards Coach Dave Joerger. "These guys really competed for spots and know how to play--I expect them to compete well with our other camp invites".
The Wizards will be travelling to Dickinson, ND for an intersquad scrimmage game at Dickinson Trinity High School on Sunday, November 2, with tip-off scheduled for 2:30 MDT. A slam dunk contest is scheduled to start the festivities at 2:00 pm MDT. A portion of the proceeds from this game will go to the Trinity High School Athletics Boosters. The Wizards will be hosting the Gary Steelheads in a CBA pre-season game at the University of Mary on Sunday, November 9th, with a 2:00 pm tip-off.
The Wizards CBA season opener is on Friday, November 19th against the Sioux Falls Skyforce at the Bismarck Civic Center. Tip-off is slated for 7:05 pm.
