Altitude Begin the Sale of Individual Game Tickets

Asheville, N.C., October 28, 2003 – The Asheville Altitude will launch the sale of individual game tickets, Wednesday, October 29, at 10:00 a.m. providing fans their first opportunity to purchase single game tickets for the 2003-2004 season.

"As our home opener draws nearer (November 30) we are thrilled with the excitement that is stirring around Asheville and the Civic Center," said Alfred White, Team President. "This year's schedule and single game ticket prices provides fantastic benefits and savings for the entire family. In addition, our exciting game promotions and entertainment features to establish Altitude games as the winter sports product of choice in the Western North Carolina."

Tickets are conveniently available at various outlets including, the Asheville Civic Center Box Office, Ticketmaster outlets, and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Altitude season tickets are currently on sale and offer numerous options for all entertainment needs. Fans csan purchase season ticket packages for home games by calling the Altitude at 828-782-1000. Season packages start as low as $27 (adults) and $21 (youth). Single game price ranges are $9, $15, $30 and $35. Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more and children. Currently fans may purchase full, partial, flex, mini or group packages.

The Altitude opens preseason play Nov. 18 on the road against the University of Missouri followed by the University of Louisville on Nov. 23.

The Altitude opens the 2003-2004 regular season at Columbus, Nov. 28, followed by the regular-season home opener against Huntsville on Nov. 30 as part of a "Mountain Hoops Tipoff" that will feature the UNC-Asheville Men's and Women's basketball teams at the Asheville Civic Center. The Altitude game is slated to begin at 6 p.m.
