Sporting Kansas City News Release
The Kansas City Wizards have a busy week of travel ahead, as the team will face the Columbus Crew and Colorado Rapids in road games Wednesday and Saturday, respectively. After Kansas City's first two-game week of the 2010 MLS season, the Wizards will return home to take on English powerhouse Manchester United Sunday, July 25 at 5 p.m. CT at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Wizards visit the Columbus Crew this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. CT, where they hope to avenge a 1-0 loss from earlier this season. On Saturday, the Wizards will then travel to Dick's Sporting Goods Park to face the Colorado Rapids at 8 p.m. CT. This will be the third meeting between the Wizards and Rapids in 2010, with each team earning a win. The Wizards won an MLS match April 10 1-0 before losing to the Rapids three days later in a U.S. Open Cup play-in game 2-1.
Both matches will be broadcast live on KCWE 29 and feature play-by-play announcer Dave Borchardt and color commentator Sasha Victorine.
