Withers Named First-Team All-NLL

(HALIFAX, NS) - The National Lacrosse League today announced that Halifax Thunderbirds defender Jake Withers has been named First Team All-NLL.
"Jake has earned his spot on the first team All-NLL and took home Transition Player of the Year award voted on by all NLL GMs and Owners. Jake's compete level and drive elevates the entire team, demonstrating his development as a player and leader on Halifax Thunderbirds," Thunderbirds Owner and General Manager Curt Styres said. "We are proud of Jake for his accomplishments in Halifax in addition to his first-team honours."
Withers also took home his first Transition Player of the Year Award on Thursday, capping off a historic year at the face-off dot for the veteran.
