Two Black Bears Bring Home NLL Honours

Ottawa, ON - Two Black Bears took home league honours today as Jeff Teat was named All-League First Team and Callum Jones was named to the All-Rookie Team as parts of the 2023-24 NLL awards.

This will be the second straight year that Teat has been named to the NLL's All-League First Team. In his third NLL season, the Brampton, Ontario native set a new career high in goals, leading the NLL with 58. In 2021-22, Jeff Teat was named to the NLL All-Rookie Team, and named All-League Second Team.

Callum Jones, drafted third overall by the organization in the 2023 NLL Entry Draft, had a strong showing in his rookie season. In 17 games played, the Burlington, Ontario native scored two goals, added five assists, scooped 90 loose balls and lead the team with 23 caused turnovers.
