Wisconsin Wins Big in Their Final Trip to Pohlman Field

BELOIT, WI - The Beloit Snappers (26-28) lost Sunday's finale to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (25-28) 16-6.

Wisconsin put up 12 runs in the first three innings, and there was no looking back. The Snappers scored on an RBI double from Tevin Mitchell in the third. Beloit's best inning was the fourth. The Snappers scored three runs on a sacrifice fly from David Martinez, another Mitchell double, and an RBI groundout from Ynmanol Marinez.

Beloit added a couple more runs late in the game, while the Timber Rattlers cruised to a 16-6 win.

Beloit's Top Performers: Mitchell was 2-for-4 with two RBI doubles. Bubba Hollins was 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and a hit-by-pitch. David Martinez extended his hit streak to six games with a single in the third.

The Snappers are on the road against the South Bend Cubs starting on July 6th. Beloit is back at Pohlman Field for the final time on July 13-18th against the Quad Cities River Bandits before moving into ABC Supply Stadium downtown beginning August 3.
