
Wisconsin Herd Acquires James Akinjo

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, has acquired James Akinjo from the Stockton Kings in exchange for the returning player rights to Terry Larrier and Wisconsin's second-round pick in the 2024 NBA G League Draft.
Akinjo, 6-1, 190-pound guard has appeared in 17 games for the Stockton Kings this season while averaging 9.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 24.5 minutes per game. Before joining the Kings, the California native played in 38 games for the Westchester Knicks and averaged 15.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 8.0 assists in 31.0 minutes per game during the 2022-23 season.
