The WHL Playoffs are back and the Winterhawks haven't missed a beat, winning their first two postseason contests over the Victoria Royals last weekend. The series continues this week on the island for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a potential Game 5 again in Victoria on Friday.

Hot Hawks:
Defenseman Luca Cagnoni led the Winterhawks with three goals in Games 1 and 2, becoming the first Portland skater in the internet era with back-to-back game-winning goals in the postseason. After recording the most points of any WHL defenseman in the last 30 years during the regular season, the San Jose Sharks prospect boasts 14 points in 22 career playoff games.
Forward Gabe Klassen bagged a goal in Game 1 and a stunning three assists in Game 2, picking up right where he left off after a 106-point performance in the regular season.
Forward James Stefan put up consecutive two-point showings to start the postseason with two assists on Friday and two goals on Saturday. The Edmonton Oilers prospect owns 21 points in 22 postseason contests.
Forward Nate Danielson ranked second among all WHL skaters with five points (1G, 4A) during Games 1 and 2. Making his second appearance in the WHL Playoffs, the Detroit Red Wings prospect has points in each of his last seven games, including six multi-point performances.
Goaltender Jan Špunar backstopped both wins with 41 saves on 45 total shots, earning his fifth and sixth career postseason victories. The Olomouc, Czechia native has won 10 of his last 12 appearances and has not suffered a regulation loss since Feb. 28.

Round 1, Game 1 - Portland 4 vs. Victoria 3 (Friday):
A three-goal third period and two tallies from Luca Cagnoni helped the Winterhawks pick up a 4-3 comeback victory over the Victoria Royals in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.
Round 1, Game 2 - Portland 5 vs. Victoria 1 (Saturday):
The Winterhawks came out firing and never looked back en route to a comfortable 5-1 victory in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Victoria Royals.
The Week Ahead:
Time to take the show on the road! Portland's playoff run rolls on with Games 3 and 4 in Victoria on Tuesday and Wednesday. A potential Game 5 would take place on the road on Friday, and a potential Game 6 would see the series return to the VMC on Sunday. Take a look at the full remaining first-round schedule below!
