
Winterhawks Alumnus Cody McLeod Re-Signs in Iowa

Portland, Ore. - The Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League announced today that the club has re-signed Winterhawks alumnus Cody McLeod to a one-year contract.
McLeod, 37, was a star in Portland from 2001-05, totaling 137 points in 257 games with 661 penalty minutes (PIM). The 661 PIM rank fifth all-time among Winterhawks players.
The 2021-22 season will be the 17th of the forward's professional career, playing in 776 National Hockey League games with Colorado, Nashville and New York.

The Portland Winterhawks begin their 46th season of play on October 1 and will host Seattle on October 2 for the team's home opener.
