The Dash's 14 runs were also the most scored by the team this season. Meanwhile, Alex Call, Zach Remillard and Yeyson Yrizarri each posted two hits, and Nate Nolan set a career-high five RBIs.

Alex Call: 2-for-5, BB, 2 RBIs (most RBIs and hits in a game this year)

Zach Remillard: 2-for-5 (second multi-hit game with W-S), two runs scored

STILL CRUSHING IT

So far this season, the Dash have outhit their opponents in 11 of their 14 games this season. Still, Winston-Salem is still atop the Carolina League in several offensive categories, including doubles (39), home runs (13), batting average (.292), on-base percentage (.374) and slugging percentage (.466).

ADOLFO EARNS CL POW HONORS

It was announced by the Carolina League office on Monday that Dash outfielder Micker Adolfo was named the league's Player of the Week from April 5-15. In 11 games to begin the campaign, the Dominican Republic native had 17 hits, the most of any CL player during that stretch. Adolfo was also second in the league in batting average (.395).

HEY, SALEM

The Dash kick off their second homestand of the season against the Salem Red Sox on Thursday, the first game of a four-game series. Winston-Salem will square off against the Red Sox 21 times in 2018, the second-most games among all opponents this year. Winston-Salem will head to Haley Toyota Field for the first time from May 7-9.

PITCHING HAS BEEN SOLID, TOO

Despite being known for their prolific offense, Winston-Salem's pitching staff also has the third-best mark in the league in ERA at 3.23. Through 117.0 innings pitched this year, Dash arms have struck out 124 batters and allowed just 102 hits. Among starting pitchers, right-hander Dane Dunning has shined the brightest. He has currently has a 1-1 record with a 2.60 ERA in three starts, with 23 strikeouts in 17.1 innings pitched.

SPEAKING OF PITCHING

One of eight players on the Dash's active roster to join the White Sox organization via trade, right-hander Ricardo Pinto gets the ball for Winston-Salem on Thursday. Acquired by Chicago on March 28, the right-hander joins Jose Ruiz as one of two players on this year's Winston-Salem team to have logged time in the Majors prior to the start of the season. Pinto made 25 appearances with the Phillies last year, where he posted a 1-2 record with a 7.89 ERA.

DASH DOTS

Dash outfielder Luis Basabe, who played five games for Salem in 2016, has been on a tear as of late...Basabe is 16-for-40 with two home runs and 10 RBIs over his last nine games...During his short time at the High-A level with Boston, Basabe was 8-for-22 with two doubles and a triple...He would ultimately be a part of a four-player package (INF Yoan Moncada, RHP Michael Kopech and RHP Victor Diaz) for LHP Chris Sale, a trade that was made between the Chicago White Sox and the Red Sox in 2016.
